Traffic lights out of sequence

Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 17:28, Sunday 14 August 2022

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3753147.

Eastbound traffic turning right from A13 to A117 are feeding onto the centre section of the junction where the lights are usually green, this is at red so only 4 cars can advance at once. The opposite direction is then given the green signal and is trying to advance but cars currently in the centre section from the northbound A117 turning right onto the A13 have been prevented from advancing because of the traffic blocking from the southbound A117 High St S crossing to a green signal waiting for the green on the southbound/westbound lights to change to allow flow of traffic built up because of the poor sequence.

Updates

  • The traffic lights are still out of sequence and have been for days. The is causing major delays and noise to the area as vehicles cannot move when their light is green because another set of lights has turned green and this is blocking everything up. Please resolve.
