Tree branches damaging property & falling into road
Reported via desktop in the Low hanging branches category anonymously at 14:37, Wed 17 August 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3761456.
Branches colliding with the roofs, windows, guttering & front of house of no. 60 Cavendish Road SW12 causing major damage to the property and danger to life from falling roof tiles. I reported this previously on 3rd May 2022 but it remains unresolved. I requested that someone come out to inspect the tree & pollard it but nothing has been actioned. During the storms a few months ago several of the branches came flying down, hitting my car & the pavement & road. I went outside to clear the branches from obstructing the road & pavement & got hit by a falling branch - a neighbour advised me to go back inside for safety. I'm not sure when the tree was last pollarded but it is far too top heavy with far too many larger & smaller branches all over the top, making it liable to sway in high winds. Please could this tree be pollarded ASAP before the autumn storms come & before it does any more damage to the house. Thanks
