Regular Flooding of Slip Road 30cm Deep

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 09:47, Thursday 18 August 2022

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3763346.

I have been complaining about the regular flooding of this exit slip road west bound between the A316 flyover and Hombase DIY store boundary over last two or three years. The flooding has been occurring regularly every time we have reasonable rainfall due to the road gullies being silted up with weeds and gass growing. The general lack of street sweeping of near side of A316 on approach and over the flyover allows all debris to wash down into the slip road gullies. Today the entire slip road at leaving A316 was flooded again to a depth of some 30cm causing some low cars to loose some control when leaving.
