Incorrect Speed Sign Post
Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 15:10, Sun 28 August 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3786204.
I would like to report a problem with the placement of one of your “Speed Limit” signs. At the end of “Central Way” Thamesmead SE28, on the entrance to the roundabout at “Carlyle Road, there is a 40MPH sign post. The placement of this speed increase “Sign Post”, has also increased the speed limit in the residential road of “Greenhaven Drive” to 40MPH. I feel that having a speed limit in “Greenhaven Drive” to 40MPH is a danger to the residents in this road. Would you investigate why a 40MPH sign post has been placed in this location, without considering the local impact to other roads.
I have had to use this option as there was no other option to report this danger.
