Roadworks being carried out by G Network (works ref noṬW018BFL062257) at the junction between Shacklewell Road and Shacklewell Lane.
Reported via mobile in the Roadworks category anonymously at 20:22, Mon 5 September 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3805098.
The pedestrian access around the works is not safe for anyone with a visual impairment or using a pushchair, wheelchair or other mobility aid. There is only one useable kerb drop (on the south side of the junction), the opposite kerb drop is blocked by the plastic barrier. No temporary kerb drops have been put in place. The access down one side is too narrow for anyone who is not able bodied or using a pushchair, worsened by the lampposts along the wall. There is no safe alternative route along the road which is still open to 2 way traffic.
