A Standing water problem has been found - rainwater

A member of public has reported today 8th September : The grating at the southern entrance to subway 5 of the Gyratory System is completely silted up causing rainwater to flow through the subway and pooling at the northern end. The grating at the northern end is also silted up and the one small drain that is left is easily blocked

  • Over a month has passed since I reported that the gratings at either end of Subway 5 are completely silted up. We've been lucky that there hasn't been a downpour in that time

  • I did warn you that this would happen as soon as we had some rain. When will these gratings be cleared
