Traffic lights don't change to green for pedestrian

Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 17:35, Thu 8 September 2022

Sent to TfL 3 months, 3 days, 20 hours, 22 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS3812695.

I recorded a video that shows the problem please let me know how I can send it to you. I know that the problem has been reported in the past and more recently by a friend of mine. Please treat it as emergency.. When pedestrians are waiting for the light to change to green the "WAIT" symbol lights up for a little while but then it turns off and the light is not changing to green. I tried today to change It I had to press the button 5 times (Press, wait for the light to change, didn't happen, then again and again and again) and it still didn't change. children use this crossing to go the the school bus. It is very dangerous because when the bus comes and the light is not changing they run across the road to catch the coming school bus. My daughter is very scared of that crossing. it has been reported in the past and reported back from you as fixed but the problem is still there and I don't wish my children to be scared when they are crossing the road on the way to school
