Reported via desktop in the Damage - other (bus stops and shelters) category anonymously at 20:53, Thursday 15 September 2022

Sent to TfL 17 hours, 37 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS3828629.

Hello, thanks for the update on the above reference no, but it doesn't explain why the stops opposite each other have different names? There is no safe crossing point from here to Scratchwood Open Space so I'm not sure the bus stop name is appropriate, encouraging people to cross 6 lanes of 50mph carriageway.... what about 'Vision Zero'? The same is true for Moat Mount on the northbound side. At least, please change the bus stops on both sides of the road so the information is consistent (Scratchwood Open Space and Moat Mount Open Space). Ideally, review the names of all 4 bus stops please!! Someone will get killed alighting and crossing where they are not supposed to.

  • Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. This was investigated by our team .These stops are named correctly after the area (scratchwood.). We can still use current name. With what has been said no stop information is encouraging people to cross roadways! Again, at Moat Mount stops are currently correct.

State changed to: No further action
