Rocking man home cover in main road outside of bus Lane

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3851077.

The manhole cover on Brixton Hill rattles every time a vehicle passes over it. This has been happening for several weeks. I’ve contacted Thames Water who say that it is not a water drain so sits with TFL. Please arrange for it to be fixed as it is really noisy thanks. The relevant ‘what three words’ are decay ducks frozen, thank you very much.

If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair.   • Hi team, I tried to call your customer services team on 0343 222 1234 today but could not speak to anyone. The automated message sent me to the online form at which sent me back here. Could you please share an update on this matter? I'm conscious that it will be closed soon but the manhole has not been fixed yet. Thanks very much.
