Bike accident because of a pothole
Reported via mobile in the Pothole (minor) category anonymously at 17:49, Wed 28 September 2022
Sent to TfL 3 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS3855391.
Hi.
I was cycling when I hit a pothole in Pentonville road /Cummings street (the section where only buses and bikes can go)and fell down my bike. Luckily there were no other cars nearby .
Cycling gloves, Shirt, jeans are now ripped off / broken and elbow is in severe pain.
Luckily I was wearing a helmet and cycling gloves.
Is there any compensation I can claim for this??
It is outrageous that with the amount of taxes we pay, as citizens and car owners theroads are kept in such conditions , being totally unsafe for cyclists and other road users.
Regards
