Glass smashed and open behind seat
Reported via mobile in the Damage - smashed glass or panels / jagged metal edges on shelter category anonymously at 05:34, Tuesday 4 October 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3866100.
The glass has been smashed in the back of the shelter at stop Tyler Street SE10 located on Trafalgar Road - buses 129,177, 188, 286, 386 and N1 towards Blackheath Village, Deptford or Lewisham. Stop L. It looks as though it’s previously had warning tape on it red and white stripe, but it’s been ripped off and so now the panel at back of bench/seating is just open. Yesterday someone elderly sat down and almost tipped back through the huge opening as they didn’t realise it had no glass in it when they sat down and leaned back. The shelter and bus stop pole/holder is also covered in numerous bits of (non offensive) grafitti.
