Locksley street lights stuck on red

Reported via mobile in the Stuck on red category anonymously at 09:26, Wednesday 5 October 2022

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3869108.

The lights coming out of locksley street onto the main road are stuck on red. This does not happen all the time - but very often. It’s happened to me 3 out of 5 times in the past week. It appears to be a well known issue in the local area as residents have told me this and know when it’s “safe” to jump the lights. I’ve recently moved to the area and my housemate informs me that it’s an ongoing issue that’s been around since she’s lived here (a couple of years) not sure if it’s never been reported or if it has been reported and just not resolved.

It’s incredibly dangerous as there is traffic coming 4 ways out of the junction and the “safe” gap is when the pedestrian green man is on - putting the pedestrians at risk.
