We have this constant problem that car drivers stop before the sensor in the road, so they can see the nearest traffic lights. The sensors there to say there’s traffic so they can then turn right.

See picture attached. You’ll see at least 5 other examples if you use google street view history and move around this area of the road.

I don’t know if you could extend the floor sensor further back?

  • The traffic lights at St Albans Rd and Barnet high went through two phrases and stayed red for traffic going south bound for me yesterday, turning right into St Albans Road. This has happened before as I use the turning every day. People driving have to go straight on, or they do a 'U' turn in the road which is dangerous
