Please remove the no turning signs, which (other) people ignore already!

Reported via desktop in the General Fault category by Simon Perry at 13:04, Tue 1 November 2022

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3929781.

The no right turn rule is past comprehension. It forces us the drivers to take two detours extra to travel to Waitrose. One has to not turn the normal way one would turn, but instead drive further down Norman road, to perform a u-turn just to be able to access Creek Road on the way to and from the shops.

Please change this light to allow cars to turn right into Waitrose and left into Creek road.

We put up with a lot of nonsense with various roads being closed for a long time, but these no turning signs are against common sense. Please allow us to turn in the road again.

Thank you for expediting this, because life is way too short.

Updates

  • The traffic lights on creek road junction incorrectly timed and causing delays to the traffic delays to London. The road heading towards Waitrose timed exactly same time as Creek road which is real waste of time. That road be given less timing in compare to creek road. Same way, In the morning traffic towards London given be higher priority and in the evening traffic towards Greenwich given higher priority. This will decongest roads and same fuel and emit less carbon. As per my observation this is not the case at present.
