Saplings out of control
Reported via desktop in the Damage - general (Trees) category anonymously at 22:41, Tue 1 November 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS3931374.
I love trees however, the saplings that have sprouted on this land alongside our foundations are now at risk of growing into large trees and damaging 3 crescent road. These will also invalidate our building insurance.
Please can these be taken down and the overgrowth cut back ASAP. We cannot use our back garden gate as the over growth is now grown over it.

This was not sorted, please maintain this land, you have constantly ignored these requests.
• It’s a frequent fly-tipping spot, I have had to on several occasions clear the land of waste dumped here. • Saplings directly adjacent to the side of the house are concerning and growing into trees, which will inevitably invalidate our building insurance and pose a significant risk to the Victorian structure. • Out of control pest situation. For the last three years I have had to spend hundreds of pounds trying to control the Rat & mouse infestations coming from the area. • Unable to exit our property via our back garden gate due to overgrown land.

Dear TFL Maintenance Team,
I am writing to follow up on my previous reports regarding the neglected verge of land next to my property on 3 Crescent Road, E18 1JA. I have previously reported the following issues:
Frequent fly-tipping: The land has become a common location for waste dumping, and I have had to clear the area on several occasions. Saplings growing into trees: The trees pose a risk to my property's building insurance and the Victorian structure. Pest infestations: The uncontrolled pest situation has cost me hundreds of pounds in attempts to control rat and mouse infestations. Inaccessibility to back garden: The overgrown land has made it impossible to access my back garden via the gate. Despite previous assurances from TFL, I have not seen any action taken to address these issues. As a result, the problems with the neglected land have continued to cause inconvenience and expense for myself and other residents of the property and the street.
I am therefore requesting that TFL takes immediate action to maintain this land and address the issues that have been raised. I would appreciate an update on progress within 10 days, as previously advised.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
