Pedestrian crossing has been blocked with barriers. There are students from 3 schools in the area that rely on this crossing. No alternative crossing has been planned or provided. There are no workmen at the site either. Clearly, lack of logic. Schools break up tomorrow for the holidays so be would make sense to start any work after tomorrow. This road is extremely busy and cars often speed along it. The bend and parked cars do not provide clear visibility for the students and pedestrians in general. An extremely dangerous decision to close the pedestrian. Urgent attention would be appreciated to avoid fatalities.
