Two deep potholes that potentially damaged some cars
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 00:32, Mon 19 December 2022
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4042555.
There are two deep hazardous potholes exactly below passenger side wheels (when driving perfectly within the left lane with standard width car) when driving on Westway (A40) bridge torwards Central London (so from West to East). Nearby the marker I put on map (it's ofc not 100% exact, but not much off, probably less than 200 metres off)
The potholes potentially made damage to car driving in front of me, as after potholes this car slowed down and turned on hazard warning lights and slowed down to around 10mph.
Also my car made loud sound from suspension when hitting both potholes, and my impression is that steering was impacted, so I'm planning to go to car garage to assess if the pothole caused any damage.
It was late (22:20, 19th Dec 2022) and road doesn't have much lighting, so pothole is really easy to miss
