Dangerous low branches overhanging papvement

Reported via desktop in the Low hanging branches category anonymously at 18:43, Wednesday 4 January 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4087569.

Ref TfL ref: FMS4019138 which I reported on 6th December . This problem has not been fixed and TFL sent me an email today saying it had been fixed and that the case is closed. Do you not inspect the location before closing a case? . This tree is increasingly dangerous to pedestrians and especially with the current high winds. It is a month since I reported this so can you please advise when this will be dealt with? And why is it impossible to update the original report rather than have to set up a new report for the same problem that has not been fixed? I think your reporting system leaves alot to be desired. Having gone to the trouble of reporting this problem, which could cause injury to a passing predestrian, I find it very frustating that you make it so hard for me to add further updates. Very disappointing TFL.

  • It seems to me that you just keep pushing the date forward re actually sorting this problem ie I reported it on 6th December ...nothing was done and I had to report it again on 5th Janaury ...to which you advised work would be completed in 28 days. Lo and behold I have received another email today 18th Janaury again stating work will be carried out in 28 days ...so it seems you have no intention of doing this. Plus I tried to phone you on the number you gave above and it seems that it is impossible to actually speak to an yone in the StreetCare team. What a waste of space you are if you never actually resolve problems reported to you.
