All temporary lights are not working
Reported via mobile in the All out category anonymously at 06:58, Friday 13 January 2023
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4122157.
Since yesterday afternoon, the temporary lights controlling two way traffic AND temporary pedestrian lights have not been working. With the three local schools relying on this crossing, and cars not needing to stop (as no lights are turning red for either side) not only can this cause collisions between vehicles but also injuries to pedestrians. This may have been already reported and fixed over night (although at 8pm last night they were still broken). The lights are outside Merryhills School on Bincote Road, EN2 area. There is a cordoned off are for Thames Water works which seem to be a regular occurrence in the area. Thank you for taking the time to look into this and hopefully it can be resolved as soon as possible before the roads get too busy.
