Blocked drains causing substantial surface flooding on Great West Rd

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 11:23, Monday 16 January 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4135012.

Entire area captured in street view is flooding after any rain, this causes the left-hand lane to be unpassable. I believe the correct location is shown, likely blocked drain gulleys which are integrated into the kerb stones line.

  • HI I wanted to know why the road was down to 1one lane west bound on the A4 after the Hogarth round about? I thought that roadworks and Bridge maintenance was resuming at weekends only from January no t weekdays. Or is this a seperate issue? How long will these restrictions encountered today be in place?

    Kind regards

    Paul

  • That's not this ticket which is about surface flooding.

Regarding your cones inquiry, as a member of public I was wondering the same today, nothing is announced and the railway bridge works are not yet scheduled. I'm wondering if these cones are unauthorised? This morning I diverted via the A316.
