Button did not work
Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 11:28, Monday 16 January 2023
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4135036.
The pedestrian crossing across this very fast road was not working properly today. I was crossing over from the North direction and the button did not work, I tried it several times as did someone else - waited 5 mins and it didn’t change the traffic lights (also could tell it wasn’t working as it wasn’t lighting up the “WAIT” writing on any of the boxes. Had to wait for someone crossing from the south to press on their side. It’s a really busy road and not very safe to cross without the pedestrian crossing, please could you fix this?
