The beeping sound is not functioning

PLEASE SEE COMMENT BELOW. I REPORTED THIS BUT YOU HAVE NOT READ THE COMMENT PROPERLY AND INFORMED ME THAT THE LIGHTS ARE WORKING. IT IS THE SOUND THAT ACCOMPANIES THE GREEN MAN THAT IS NOT FUNCTIONING AND YESTERDAY A BLIND WOMAN WAS UNABLE TO CROSS THE ROAD - SO SAD. I HAVE LIVED NEXT TO THIS CROSSING AND IT HAS NOT HAD THIS FUNCTION FOR AROUND 4 YEARS. ORIGINAL COMMENT...THIS PEDESTRIAN CROSSING NO LONGER HAS THE 'SOUND EFFECT' TO ALERT PEOPLE THAT THE GREEN MAN IS LIT AND IT'S SAFE TO CROSS. IT'S BEEN LIKE THIS FOR YEARS. IT WAS ONLY TODAY WHEN I SAW A VISUALLY IMPAIRED WOMAN STANDING NOT KNOWING SHE COULD CROSS THAT WAS I WAS COMPELLED TO CONTACT YOU. SHE LITERALLY HAD NO OTHER WAY OF KNOWING SHE COULD STEP FORWARD. IT'S ALSO A CROSSING USED BY LOTS OF CHILDREN WHO PAUSE AND WAIT FOR THE SOUND EFFECT. IT'S THE CROSSING ON Waldegrave Road, TEDDINGTON AT THE JUNCTION OF LINDEN GROVE AND TEDDINGTON PARK ROAD. TW11 8LU.
