The street lights have been out on the south section of highway on the Waterloo Bridge southbound (and the central reservation) for about the last 200m before the IMAX cinema roundabout. The lack of lights and buses crossing the cycle path seems extremely dangerous. I also observe there are cyclists with no lights on this section. I also observe there are tourists on Santander and Lime etc. hire bikes with no helmets on this section. And people from the bus stop are running across the road in the dark, often in dark clothes All traffic gets some speed up on this downward slope, especially cyclists. Navigating this section seems to me extremely dangerous at present and I am very concerned for pedestrians and cyclists safety. Of course, every cyclist must abide by the highway code and be responsible for their own safety. But accidents happen. I hope one does not happen here. Can you confirm that these lights will be fixed and can you tell me how long this is going to take?
