Large Pothole in Center Lane of A3

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (minor) category anonymously at 15:58, Monday 23 January 2023

Sent to TfL 5 minutes later. TfL ref: FMS4162748.

On Friday, January 13th at approximately 12pm, I hit a large pothole in the center lane. It was in the underpass of the A3 at Malden Road. My left passenger tyre immediately went flat and I pulled off on South Lane. I had to have the tyre replaced which cost £400. Another driver in a BMW pulled off with a flat tyre from hitting the same pothole 15 min after me. I passed by the next day to see if there was someplace I could safely take pictures but given the location in the underpass there was no way to safely take pictures. I do have pictures of the tyre and my receipts. I would like to seek reimbursement. Thank you in advance.
