3 of the Wait buttons spinning cones not working
Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 10:27, Tuesday 24 January 2023
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4164875.
3 of the wait buttons spinning cones (for blind users) are not working, my blind colleague has reported this to me. Also the island crossing is in the shape of an 's' and I have often caught my colleague walking straight across, can railings be added to avoid crossing straight.
This is the crossing immediately outside of 240 city road.

The fault with the push buttons has been attended this morning. However there is no mention with regards to the missing railings. Our engineer confirms that railings used to be present on this site as the attached photo shows. Please reinstate ASAP as this is a major concern for blind persons when crossing.
