Faulty traffic lights outside 33 Harlington Road East Feltham Middlesex TW13 5BN with long delay timer when requesting to cross the road safely

Reported via desktop in the General Fault category by Councillor Bishnu Gurung at 10:45, Thursday 26 January 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4172385.

Faulty traffic lights with long delay timer when requesting crossing. It takes ages for these traffic lights to stop traffic when you press / request to cross the road safely. You have to wait for a long time. People take risks crossing these traffic lights when they become impatient having to wait so long - so they cross the lights when they are green and haven’t stopped traffic. Please fix the timer so it engages as soon as possible to allow safe crossing. It’s unacceptable to have to wait for a long time on such a busy, congested and polluted road where you’re breathing in toxins waiting for the traffic lights to work and there’s a strong likelihood of an accident.
