Faulty Pedestrian Crossing

Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 14:39, Monday 30 January 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4185718.

At the pelican crossing connecting Vian Sreet with ASDA on Loampit Vale, the inverted cone beneath the control box on the island part of the crossing is not working. I am currently teaching a blind person to use a long white cane to get to ASDA but this person is in danger as the person would not know when to cross as there are no audible bleeps. This person is in danger of been hurt or seriously injured when crossing Loampit Vale. Please can this be repaired as a matter of urgency.
