Faulty pedestrian lights

The pedestrian green light cycle has been faulty for a couple of months, since new lights were installed. The crossing skips pedestrian cycle unless you keep pressing the button. "Wait" lights up but goes out without crossing light turning to green. Have to keep pressing or holding the button. Then, when you finally do get the crossing green light you are given insufficient time to cross. The 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 countdown display is ridiculous and anxiety triggering for those who are disabled or not so agile. You wait for ages then you are hustled across (shame!!). No doubt this, and the "faulty" crossing lights are intended to help keep motor traffic from building up and causing even more complaints and dismay over the "low traffic neighbourhoods" ruining air quality in the unfortunate "high traffic neighbourhoods" such as Croxted Road. This light needs to be sorted out urgently on both counts.
