Recurring noisy manhole
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4186818.
An operator just came to “fix” the noisy manhole we have been complaining about for months. Another quick job where some tarmac has been put over, but the manhole is still noisy after having done this quick fix. Please find a definitive solution for this issue, it is driving all the neighbours mad.

Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. This has been investigated and we have now referred it to our contractors. If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair.
