Improper dangerous kerbing
Reported via desktop in the Roadworks category anonymously at 02:17, Tue 31 January 2023
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4187636.
Around April 2021 money was wasted changing the surface and kerbing of a perfectly serviceable pavement. As a result a high sharp granite kerb was installed and has caused over 30 punctures to my knowledge (probably many more) to vehicle tyres in less than 2 years. In many cases cars are not even mounting the pavement but grazing the edge of the kerb which is sufficient to cause damage. The kerbing appears to be surplus to another job or purpose and has been improperly and dangerously disposed off at this location in a fashion I believe warrants an inquiry
