Lane closure start from over half a mile from actual roadworks causing gridlock
Reported via desktop in the Roadworks category anonymously at 10:23, Thursday 2 February 2023
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4195688.
Actual roadworks on the Southbound A41 Hendon Way just after the junction with the Burroughs (A504) BUT the closing of lanes on the A41 start over half a mile away at the junction with Greyhound Hill. This is causing unnecessary traffic jams and causing grid-lock in the whole area. Why are the lane closures on the A41 so far away from the actual road works. This is just punishing vehicle drivers unnecessarily and adding to air pollution in the area due to the gridlocks being caused. Please sort this out ASAP.
