During roadworks to replace the Battersea Park Library bus stop, the workes used heaving grinding equipment which emitted sparks into the road, resulting in the sparks hitting several cars, mopeds and buses. This went on for a number of hours. there were no road closures or safety protocols in place to protect the cars. The pavement was still open to pedestrians.
