Unnecessary Traffic Lights
Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 17:25, Wednesday 8 February 2023
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4215614.
Why have you installed traffic lights here? Instead of traffic lights why cant the access on-street parking be temporarily removed to allow free flowing traffic?
It's takes drivers up to 30mins in the morning to get out from the West Barnes level crossing through to the traffic circle at B&Q because of these unnecessary traffic lights.
Additionally, the amount of pollution caused by cars stalling at the traffic lights is ridiculous. These road works have been going on for weeks now and it's incredibly frustrating for residents!! Does it not make more sense to keep traffic flowing and remove the access to on-street parking, given how long these roadworks have been going on?
I've also noticed that there is never anyone ever working on this site so when is it going to be completed? How long more will residents have to suffer due to poor decisions made by TFL?
