The cycle filter is not detecting the presence of cyclists.
Reported via mobile in the General Fault category by Duncan Knox at 17:42, Fri 10 February 2023
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4221843.
The pedal cycle filter traffic signal is not detecting the presence of cyclists and so as a cyclist you wait for ages at the stop line of the cycle filter until you give up and use the motor vehicle signal. This could put cyclists in conflict with vehicles. I think it is because the microwave detector for cyclists is positioned behind the back of the traffic signal head rather than at any cyclists that might be in the cycle track.
