Cycle lane closed

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4283227.

This raps work (cycle lane closed in front of art gallery) has been outstanding for weeks (if not months). Big hole on lane. No work seems to be done these days. Left completely unattended. Cycle lane deviation but most of time in morning, trucks parked leaving cyclists baxk to main road.

Whatever the reason, the work just should be attended instead of being left with no progress

  • Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. Regrettably, it is taking longer to investigate than we had planned. There are currently extensive investigations taking place a this site due to a very large void underneath the footway which is in close proximity to underground directly below. investigations and multi faceted agreement is required before this issue can be progressed. investigations will include ground penetrating radar also. Please be assured that we are currently working on this and we will give you an update as soon as we can.
