Pedestrians are not being given priority here
Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 09:22, Wed 8 March 2023
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4291528.
Tulse Hill A204. Brockwell Park Entrance. The light should be a pedestrian sensor but this traffic light gives car drivers the absolute right of way. Pedestrians wait ages - or cross at risk without waiting the interminable time for the green light. Allegedly this was a problem fixed a year ago. Yet still cars are being driven at high speed, racing and overtaking one another on this stretch, and the traffic light means pedestrians have to wait ages to cross at this busy park entrance.
Please ensure that pedestrians are the priority.
