Flooding due to blocked drain under railway bridge SE6

Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 18:11, Wednesday 29 March 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4372862.

Under the railway bridge the pavement floods any time there's a bit of rain.

As a pedestrian you have to tiptoe past a huge puddle, single file, and hope not to be splashed by a passing vehicle.

The drainage needs attention.

I'm not clear whether this is your responsibility as it's on a major road or Lewisham council's so I'm flagging it with both.

Please let me know

  • Insufficient pavement width under bridge - why can’t TfL move the street lamps onto the walls of the bridge?
