URGENT: Traffic lights broken on DANGEROUS bridge
Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 14:40, Wednesday 29 March 2023
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4372997.
I live near the narrow bridge on Cool Oak Lane which crosses the Brent Reservoir. This apparently was reported on here by someone else on the 19th March and then marked "fixed". As of right now 29 March it is 100% not fixed. It is still broken.
Multiple people have died on this bridge in the past due to the limited visibility and people taking risks.
Right now motorists and cyclists are taking risks every minute as one set of lights is stuck on red whilst the other set changes as normal. This leads to fury on the side that is stuck and people getting angry and driving like crazy from the back of the queue to get around the cars that are uneasy about going through a red light.
As "every journey matters", Hopefully this can be looked at as a matter of urgency before somebody gets hurt on the bridge or worse.
