Traffic lights all out

Reported via mobile in the All out category anonymously at 14:02, Thursday 30 March 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4377316.

About 2 weeks ago a driver hit one of the traffic lights on the Woodford Avenue going towards Gants Hill before Longwood Gardens and Redbridge and Beehive Lane. These are the lights parallel to Highview Parade. These lights are vital for many people especially children crossing for school and the elderly including myself who live in Hedgeley. It is a great inconvenience to go to the next safe crossing. Please, please can this work be sorted as soon as possible. Many thanks.

  • This is being planned to be attend ASAP under fault reference STC0301056 but requires High Speed Safety Traffic Management to be used while the works are undertaken which have limited availability. We have been advised by the Traffic Signal Contractor that has attended this site that there are other crossing points close to this one that can be used. MF

  • These traffic lights are still not working. It is so dangerous to cross the road especially with young drivers speeding along day and night.
