Wait button often doesnt work.

Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 18:05, Tuesday 4 April 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4398726.

The wait button on the crossing nearest to the petrol station (Daws Lane side) of the Watford Way is not working well. When pressed on about 30% of the times the lights never go red. It often takes 3 or 4 cycles of presses for the lights to change. Since this has been broken I have seen children confused and attempt to run across the road due to having no other choice. Someone is going to get run over very soon.

Happy to talk through to be more specific which crossing I mean.
