Faulty Pedestrian crossing
Reported via desktop in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 15:51, Wednesday 12 April 2023
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4430484.
Comments: The wait between pressing the button and being able to cross is so long it's dangerous. It's been this way a long time. It takes so long for the lights to go red that no one bothers to wait anymore especially when it's raining. I don't know what the timings should be but this one is definitely faulty. Someone had already pressed the button, crossed the road and were out of sight when I approached it earlier, it took so long I also crossed the road before the lights had changed and I was out of earshot by the time it changed.
