Subject Noise caused by vehicles passing over a metal cover on The Highway strongly disturbing my sleep
Details One vehicle after another passing over the metal cover produces such a loud recurrent noise amid a silent night that has become my night's sleep infernal, preventing me from adequately recovering for the next working day.
Note - for the right localization of the metal cover, please, see the attached picture. (side road next to the London Dock School, between Ensign Street and Wellclose Street)
Action requested To isolate the metal cover in question, fixing its insertion on the hard surface of the road!

If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair.
