Raised paving slab on manhole cover in pavement

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 11:06, Tuesday 18 April 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4455275.

On 21 March 2023 you reported that this problem had been fixed. The attached photo, taken on 22 March, shows signs of the manhole having been lifted but the offending pavement slab is still raised and causing a hazard. In other words the contractors have not fixed the problem. As of 17 April the problem still has not been fixed. The surface of the manhole cover and of the raised slab are dimpled in order to aid the partially sighted. It is of concern that it is taking so long to fix this problem (first reported in November 2022).
