Tolworth Roundabout roadworks
Reported via mobile in the Roadworks category anonymously at 06:30, Wed 19 April 2023
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4458664.
These are causing chaos. All roads are blocked, the A3 is blocked. Access from The Sunray estate is blocked, we cannot get off our estate. There are people driving along pavements where the kids are walking, people going through no entry to get access to the roundabout.
The bus took nearly 2 hours to get back from Kingston to Tolworth.
This cannot carry on for 9 months. People are unable to go about their business.
You need to re-assess this as a matter of urgency please.

Something has to be done. Emergency services are at risk of reaching incidents. Residents of the sunray estate can not go about their daily business. It’s absolute madness

Still massive traffic at 9.39 and impossible to plan ahead to get somewhere. It took my son 1 ½ hours to get back from Kingston College yesterday. School kids have to leave even earlier than they already do. We on the Sunray Estate are going to be literally stuck to get anywhere for weeks to come.

Absolute chaos - appalling disregard of people trying to go about their lives - getting to school, work etc - as this is all about TFL I am not even remotely surprised as they definitely are not on the side of the ordinary man/woman ! This cannot possible go on until January and you Mayor Khan need to address this situation !

This can not continue. Action is needed now to reduce the impact this is having on traffic. the question has to be asked is this a planned tatic to increase air pollution in the area to then use the data to back to ulez exte sion

The lanes are reduced and it’s fenced off all around Barnsbury Lane to fill in the subway steps! Absolutely no need for this to be done in the day time and no need for the fencing to be taking up a lane.. When I walked past there wasn’t even anyone working. You should be doubling the work force to get this done ASAP.

TFL - what are you going to do about this dangerous situation that you have created - it is absolutely disgusting that lives are being put at risk - residents are stranded in streets that are jam packed with traffic - YOU MUST NOT IGNORE THIS SITUATION !! Another disaster brought about by Sadiq Khan and don’t even think about trying to justify ULEZ with this situation because it is a situation YOU have created.
