Roadworks at Tolworth roundabout

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4459820.

Yesterday was the first time I had seen a sign warning of any roadworks in the area and I only noticed it as I was stuck in a queue that must have been over 3 miles long down the A3. My journey home usually takes around 30 minutes but actually took an hour and a half. Has anyone actually assessed the impact closing a lane on the roundabout would have on the surrounding area?
