Adult and child almost got killed because the green traffic light is not visible and you can only see the redlight

Reported via desktop in the General Fault category by tom coffey at 19:45, Wednesday 19 April 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4463297.

The junction has 2 lanes ,one straight ahead and one turning right. There is no filter light for right turn. There are 2 separate traffic lights. the pedestrian crossing is in advance of the straight ahead traffic light (showing green). The pedestrian can only see the red light which looks like it is the only one for the junction. The pedestrian sees the red light, assumes the traffic will stop and steps in front of the moving car. At 6pm today this happened with a mother and child. The car managed an emergency stop. This is very confusing and likely to result in a serious injury/fatality regards Dr Tom Coffey ([email protected])
