Repeat report. Pelican in College Approach has both sides upper pedestrian signal affixed wrongly. They should face across the road.

Reported via mobile in the General Fault category anonymously at 14:37, Tuesday 2 May 2023

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4508780.

Repeat report. Seen 23/4/23. Your response was No problem observed or fixed. Please check again. I submit a 3rd photo (which now appears as photo 2 near St Alfege Church) of a nearby crossing installed properly, for comparison. I make this response on 2/5/23 but do not live locally to check again.

Pelican in College Approach has both sides upper pedestrian signal affixed wrongly. They should face across the road. This is so people having pressed the button can see the signal and the traffic at the same time, looking where they are about to cross.

As it is, the upper green/red person signal pointlessly duplicates thee signal on the button box.

This is now the third instance I have seen and reported (Elmers End Rd, Beckenham, and Croydon Rd Beckenham). Tfl last responded three months ago they were fixing these. Contractors are putting these in wrongly.
