The red man does not change green

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4566495.

This is the traffic light at the intersection of Wood Street and the High Street several doors north from the Tesco Metro on the east side of the High Street. The red man never changes green. People realise this when the cars stop and cross against the red man. I am afraid one day there will be some confusion and there will be an accident.

  • We are aware of this issue and it is in hand under reference STC0300312 with the Traffic Signal Contractors and the Borough to meet on site and agree the works to fix the issue. We are actively chasing for this to be undertaken MF
