  • Still not working

  • This is a ridiculous situation. This problem has been going on for over a year. 2 lamposts on either side of the road, at 496 Kingsland Road, do not work. Both lamppost do not have a lamp holder at the top. On one the west side of the road there are 2 lampposts. 1 old and broken and one new. But neither of them are operational. On the east side there is a post with no lamp – so not working either. The problem gets reported to streetcare and the status gets changed to fixed. But it is not fixed. This has happened multiple times over the past year. There does not seem to be any other way of contacting TFL to report this problem so all we can do is repeatedly duplicate the request, on streetcare, to get this problem rectified. How can we break this loop – how do we get an update directly from the contractors with some direct information that they, and you, know this problem is still not rectified? Is there a reason why the lamp is not being fixed? Is there no money in the budget for these repairs? Or is it is an administrative problem? Does the system say the problem is fixed but it is not? Can someone please try and find out what is going on and post a reply that gives us some reassurance that this problem is actually going to get fixed soon.
