A manhole is bouncing and loud

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS4816136.

It was reported a few times since April this year. Some work has been done in June but it was o.k. for 2-3 weeks and then it was back to normal. It is actually even worse- louder than before when cars are driving over it. It sounds like shooting. Some more permanent job required. A manhole is close to ST (Southend Lane) bus stop, Bromley Road.

  • Hello, thank you for acting on it. They put a tarmac again. And it was o.k. for a few days and now it is back to banging again. It seems, a new layer of tarmac is not helping for long. I appreciate a job provided though. But wondering, if there is any more long lasting way to fix it.
